My sweet, precious daughter is extremely into rocks right now. So much so that she spent a lot of time on our vacation searching for the perfect rocks … rocks that were colorful and unique and different than the rest. I got to the point where I had to really limit the number of rocks that she kept or she probably would’ve tried to bring the whole riverbed home with her!
Her love of rocks didn’t end when we came home from Michigan though. In fact, there is a pile on my kitchen counter at this very moment … precious treasures to a nine year old girl.
Psalm 62:6 … He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.
Oh how fun and what a perfect scripture to pair with it.
