We have enjoyed one of the warmest winters in a long time and as a result my crocuses are already blooming! In the middle of February in Indiana, this is unheard of. In fact, I probably wouldn’t have even noticed they were up if it weren’t for a friend who came to pick up one of the kids last week and noticed that the daffodils were several inches out of the ground. That got me curious. So I went looking and found lots of little treasures…
Thinking of spring makes me giddy! It won’t be long now!

I've never seen those yellow/deep red croci before! I think they are so gorgeous! No sign of them in Boston yet though!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen those yellow/deep red before either, they're gorgeous.
Have a great day.

Isn't this weather bizarre? Our crocuses in Virginia are up also, and our daffodils will bloom any day now. Your close-up photos are fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous captures. Love the colours and your wonderful focus. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese are all very pretty. I really like the contrast of the brown leaves and such against the pretty lavendar petals.
ReplyDeleteWe've had unseasonably warm weather too. It was almost 80 degrees today. I think plants and trees everywhere are confused.
This is exciting! And your images are so beautiful!
