Sweet Shot Tuesday

This past weekend we visited my Grandma in her new apartment.  As we were walking down the hallway to her home, we passed by this great little area where all of the residents can keep their plants for the winter.  The cozy little nook is bright and sunny with lots of windows and counter space for pots and planters of all shapes and sizes!  I hadn’t planned on taking up close flower pictures during our visit so I left my macro lens at home.  Initially I was pretty disappointed that I hadn’t brought it along, but I did have my brand new 24-70 mm and am really happy with the shots I got with it.  It’s so nice to be able to enjoy a burst of color in the midst of winter!
