Today's I Heart Faces Fix-it-Friday features a lovely summer, beach scene. I tried this one several times before arriving at one I was pleased with...
SOOC:

And my edit (done in PSE 7):

1. Levels Adjustment Layer ... moved outside sliders in towards the middle slightly (just so they were underneat the outside edges of the "mountain")
2. Layers Adjustment Layer ... moved middle (grey) slider to the left quite a bit and black slider to the right just a bit ... Inverted (Control-I) and brushed just on face
3. Photo Filter Layer to cool
4. Hue/Saturation Level - increased blues and yellows
5. Brightness/Contrast Layer ... changed nothing then changed to soft light ... lowered opacity so it wasn't so harsh
6. Created a new layer and cloned out the distractions in the background
7. Created a new layer ... used eye dropper on the skin of the knee then brushed over the area of the right knee was slightly red
8. Flatten
9. Ran the Florida action from Everyday Elements with Sun light at 100% opacity
10. Applied one of Love That Shot's Olde World Textures ... soft light & overlay ... brushed off boy
11. Duplicate Layer ... High Pass Filter to sharpen
beautiful edit!!
